Haere Mai/Welcome.

Here you will find the best parts of us and what we believe in and value.

We are proud to be a Maori-owned New Zealand business, with the wellbeing of people at our heart.

There is a Maori proverb that we live by:

He aha te mea nui o te ao

What is the most important thing in the world?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

It is the people, it is the people, it is the people

Antoinette descends from Parihaka and her tūpuna's values are apart of her and how we live by these values as a whanau (family). Some of the important values are solidarity, integrity, justice and peace. You will find this is very much what UNDE is as a little whanau (family) business.

One of the most biggest causes close to our hearts and values is Women's Refuge who are we absolutely critical to the protection of our wahine (women) and tamariki (children) in Aotearoa (New Zealand). We donate when we can and we hope that with growth we can do this more regularly.

Here is the link to Women's Refuge if you need help or would like to help:

Since day one of starting UNDE we made a point to only use the kindest materials and processes to make our underwear. We decided we would make our underwear here in Aotearoa (New Zealand) where we could support local whanau (family) and be able to have a close relationship with our makers/creators. We know that everyone is being paid a living wage, are in acceptable working conditions.
