We are the new kids on the block of a big manufacturing industry. We have learnt a lot and have more to learn.

One thing we learnt was that New Zealand used to be one of the best manufacturing countries until the 90's when companies moved the services off  shores afar for reasons we can't be sure of.

We have met lots of artesian/crafters who talk of the humming industry in New Zealand and how the trade has died and all the beautiful old industrial machinery is growing dust in peoples garages who can't part with these pieces that still have life in them to do what they were made to do. We hope one day we can bring a small part of this industry back, train up others in these trades and keep things local not only because its good for people locally and nationally in the industry it is a huge benefit to the planet reducing mileage of shipping product overseas and around the world and back.
